Tuesday marked the first day of public school for the kids’ friends back home. Our little Martin Academy is light these days as far as book work goes, but thankfully that’s not the only way to learn 😉
We biked up to Acadia National Park to spend some time hiking.
The views on this hike were killer. Every new break in the trees revealed another breathtaking spot.
Later in the day we drove down to a different section of the park. We happened upon a real porcupine!
We drove the rest of the Schoodic Loop and headed home, since we had to eat and make it to the nighttime Junior Ranger Program at Acadia. Okay by “we” I mean I stayed home with a glass of wine and Billy took them. I relaxed, they learned about the geology of the peninsula – everybody won!
